- Maitland Groom Added 2017-11-21★ ★ ★ ★ ★The elders and the youth who work together and learn from each other were very hospitable and open with their knowledge and experiences. The view from the cultural site over the river, and the hike down past the carved Boulder into the river canyon itself, is breathtaking.
The cultural site is an awesome place to take a wilderness break just off the highway on a long driving day. It's also a great chance to see the dug out pit houses that they have constructed on site (a building style not often associated with BC or even Canada).
